iland, now 11:11 Systems, is proud to announce that we’ve been named a Leader in Forrester Research Inc.’s comprehensive research report: “The Forrester Wave™: Disaster-Recovery-As-A-Service Providers, Q2, 2017.”

For over a decade,11:11 has been helping customers increase IT Resiliency and ensure business continuity with market-leading disaster recovery solutions. We believe this position as a Leader in the Forrester DRaaS Wave reflects the continued investment we’re making in disaster recovery offerings that meet the needs of a broad customer base challenged by increased business risk from threats of ransomware, cyber-attacks, power outages, and other causes of downtime.

In the report, Forrester pointed out the increasing importance of IT Resiliency for Infrastructure and Operations (I & O) professionals, stating: “I&O pros are adopting DRaaS services as the foundation for cost-effective resiliency. They increasingly trust DRaaS providers to provide secure and reliable infrastructure as well as business continuity (BC) consulting, industry certifications, proven scale, wide platform support, and application knowledge to automate recovery when required.”

Importantly,11:11 Systems received the highest scores possible in the categories of data security, pricing, service levels, and contract terms. The Forrester report states: iland’s “self-service console integrates the underpinning replication solutions and makes it easy for customers to perform all operations on a single console. The iland Secure Cloud Console automatically measures the RPO and displays it over time – customers can set alerts in the event of a breach of a pre-set service-level agreement – and offers embedded security and compliance reporting.”

From our many DR engagements, it’s evident that these elements of a DR solution are increasingly important; customers want the assurance that their data is being replicated to a secure, production-quality cloud location combined with a solution that is cost-effective, easy to onboard and manage, and is backed up by responsive support when they need it. After all, DR is just one of many line items in an IT budget and most companies – particularly those in the mid-market – do not have the IT resources to dedicate to managing DR.
