Is IaaS living up to expectations?

Computing surveyed 150 technical and business decision makers from organisations employing a minimum of 250 people. The survey sample was drawn from a wide cross-section of UK enterprises, including the financial sector, government, retail, logistics and manufacturing and all of the individuals taking part were responsible for decisions made about hyperscale service provision for their organisation.
This exclusive research takes a snapshot of where businesses are in their long-term cloud migration, whether they are engaging with hyperscalers directly or going via MSPs and the value that MSPs are adding. We will discuss the technical barriers that are having to be overcome. Our research also examines whether the capital and operational cost benefits that are likely to have been a key reason for migration have been realised and if not, why not? Above all, we attempt to answer the question of whether IaaS has lived up to expectations.
